Valentines Day - Cupcake Card

I got this idea from browsing online.

Amazing what you can do with left-over
fabrics, some paper, and a good printer.

You could also use corny sayings like:

A little treat,
for someone sweet.

or

You're a
REAL
Treat
!

Halloween - Construction Paper Spider (Black Widow)

Here is a paper black widow spider I made to attach to
my witch hat for Halloween.

1)Cut the body out
of black construction paper. 2)Fold a small strip
of black paper into about 15 sections, then
cut the "butt" end in a circular shape
so it will fold out like a lantern 3) Glue that
to the body, the glue black thin rope to the mouth
4)Finally cut an hourglass out of redish-orange
kids craft foam and glue that to the other side.

I used fabric tac to adhere it
to the edge of my hat, and it looked great!
Whenever you move it swings realistically
and looks so convincing!

Here is a video with pictures, and a short clip...

Halloween - Lanterns

The kids really liked these!
Plus,
double bonus for a safe halloween...

The pumpkin lantern was the best, the lanterns were translucent plastic, so they glowed like a real pumpkin! I used "flickering" tea lights, to give it a real effect.

We also had cauldrons (opaque in nature) that when you put the tea light in and placed a small amount of white tissue paper on top it would glow yellow with white at the edges, and it looked like the cauldren was lit and smoke was comming out - very cool!

Here is a Video so you can
get an idea of what it looks like

(I know, so high-tech -
and music too!! oooo...ahhhh...)

Halloween Bookmarks

Wondering what to do with your holiday pictures
other than shove them into yet another album?

Make a cool bookmark to remember the occasion!

I made these bookmarks for Halloween 2009.
I made the costumes and after having fun
taking holiday pics, I photoshopped
us both into these horror/fantasy scenes.

The backgrounds and stock are from DeviantArt**
and not to be used for sale (see note below).
